The scariest thing….LOVE

Love is a scary thing, but wow is it such an amazing thing at the same time. To love someone you are giving your life, your heart, your tears, your laughs, your giving that person your entire self being. We are all scared of being hurt and being left alone. Which I completely agree and understand. Having the person you love walk away and act like everything is your fault is the worst thing a person could ever feel. I think one of the biggest problems in the world today in relationships is alcohol. Have you ever realized a couple could be so perfect and so in love while sober and then when they get drunk everything changes? They say hurtful words, they mess up, they treat you like your nothing to them, they walk away? It’s unbelievable because the next morning you wake up and sit there and cry and you go through everything and it’s all bull shit and so ridiculous because you both know that it would have never happened if you were sober. I just wish love could stay true and stay happy. I know that we all make mistakes and hurt people by our actions or words, but i know that we all as people should give each other chances to fix things. In my life i give people so many chances its unbelievable, but when it comes down to people giving me chances some people just gave up and walked away. I don’t know why people who have made so many mistakes thinks its ok to not give other people chances. We are all human and we are all going to mess up, it’s what we do. Only difference between us all is the actions we take after to fix things and change what has happened. We only have one life to live so when you do mess up try and fix what you have done, make sure you never do it again and start looking into your future of the ways your going to make your life the way you want it. You cant change the past so stop trying to. Change your present so in the future you wont ever regret a thing. Remember to always think before you speak, think before you take action, and think before you fall in love.

20130911-111110.jpg

This morning everyone around the nation paused to remember everyone that was lost 12 years ago in such a tremendous attack. It was such a sad and scary morning, I hope none of us ever have to go through that again. It just makes me remember that every day I need to be thankful for my life and to remind my friends and family I love them and cherish them so much! We never know what each day will bring us! Express your love for the people in your life, you never know when it will be too late to do so. Today needs to be a love filled day to be thankful for the lives we are still blessed with and to remember all the people that did lose lives or loved ones. 9/11 you will never be forgotten.

Clamming in Cape Cod!

Today I was in Cape Cod one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen!!! We went to a little beach called Osterville. This beach is located next to some of the most amazing, beautiful, large luscious homes on the East Coast. The area is known as the “Beverly hills” of ME :). I unfortunately did not get to go into the water and actually go clamming because we didn’t have enough waiters but I was right on the beach seeing and learning how to really catch some clams like the true clammers do!! The guy that was teaching us how to clam has been doing this for 65 years now and has the biggest heart!! He was such a great teacher and had so much information to teach us all!! It’s so nice to see people being so passionate about something in life for such a long period of time!!

I hope that as I grow older I can stay passionate about the things I love! You have to keep your drive going and never give up on what you really want!! Such a great life lesson today, so thankful to be over here on the East coast capturing all of it’s amazing beauty!

Patience

The seafood festival in Hampton, New Hampshire was such an experience! It had such a beautiful view of the ocean and so much amazing food to try! It also had live music, live entertainment and shopping. This place is really cool and very popular so you have to prepare yourself for big crowds!! I myself had many of moments today where I had to step back and just breathe. I personally get very annoyed and angry at “dumb” people. Even though I can be dumb sometimes we all know that when it comes to big crowds some people you run into could take the award for dumbest human being. Today I noticed a lot of people pushing, shoving and just having no self control or care in the world to be polite and have patience. We all need to remember to be patient in life and instead of getting angry and ruining your day by one stupid thing happening, you need to just breathe, let it go and be PATIENT!!

The Ocean

“When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.”
– Rainer Maria Rilke

Today the crew and I were able to go out onto the ocean and go fishing! This was my first time fishing and going that far out into the ocean on a boat. I was very nervous of getting sea sick but in the end I felt and did great!! We left the dock at around 6am and headed out to catch some fish. The sun coming up onto the ocean was one of the most spectacular views I have ever seen. Hearing the boat crash against the waves and looking out into the on going deep blue ocean was a perfect way to start my morning. Once we got out to our fishing spot, which was about 2 hours out from the dock we set up some lines and started to fish! I fished for a little bit and when the fishermen grabbed my fishing pole to real me back in, a fish latched on and up came a great size eel fish called the “cusk”. It was so great to have caught something out on the ocean and see what passion people have for this type of living. We stayed out on the ocean for a couple hours and most of the crew caught a fish each and then all of a sudden we had a shark bite onto a couple of our lines. Finally on the fourth time he latched on we finally hooked him and got him up on to the boat. This was such a crazy experience and very interesting to see. Once they got the shark on the boat they told us it was a Blue Shark that was about a 10-12 foot shark. After that we felt accomplished and decided to head in! We then of course all decided to take pictures with the shark and capture the moment. Today was such a beautiful and inspiring day for me. I am so thankful that I was able to be apart of such a cool experience and I hope everyone at least once in there life gets to get out on a boat and catch some amazing creatures! Live everyday to the fullest and don’t miss out on a moment of pure bliss and happiness!

Portland Main

As I mentioned in my last post I am on the East Coast filming for our new show on Tastemade called Coastal. Today we were filming in Portland, Main discovering the best lobsters rolls in town!!! Today was my first time trying a lobster roll and it was amazing!!! I got the roll called “The Picnic” which is made my a food truck called “Bite Into Main.” This role was toasted to perfection then topped with coleslaw, a ton of fresh buttery crab and some celery salt! It was outstanding!!! If you are ever in Main I would suggest going by the Fort Mission Park to grab one of these amazing lobster rolls! On top of the amazing food they have one of the most amazing views, so go check it out. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy 🙂

Work

BOSTON!!!!
IMG_3817
Wow has it been one amazing day! Left LA this morning to fly to Boston for work to film more for our new show called Coastal made through the company Tastemade! I have now been working for them for about two months and I absolutely love it! When I decided I wanted to do production assistant work I was really nervous of how it would go because i heard such horrible stories from people of how baldy treated you get on set. But instead of letting that scare me I pushed forward anyway and gave it a go myself. The first production company I worked for was Tastemade, and wow have I been able to prove everyone wrong. This company is one of the most inspiring, helpful, most amazing team’s I have ever worked for. I have been doing little projects for them weekly at the studio in Santa Monica, and then I got asked to come along for the travel show called Coastal. We started on the West Coast about two weeks ago and that trip was such a great learning experience. Being up North was great as I am from South Lake Tahoe and being there for work really let me explore some new places I have never really appreciated or realized before. Now we are filming on the East Coast which I am so stoked on as I have never been to these areas we are shooting at before! Today we arrived into Boston and checked into our hotel and half of our crew went to see the Boston Red Sox play at the famous Fenway Park which is unbelievable! It was such an amazing experience and I am so happy to have been able to go to a game there! We then walked around and I got to see a little bit more of Boston and wow I would have never thought I would like it here so much. So beautiful and just all around different and natural. As we were walking home we crossed over a bridge and as I stood on it looking over the famous Charles River it made me begin thinking about how lucky I am to be standing on that bridge being able to be here for work. A couple months ago I would have never thought this is where I would be today, but boy am I more then thankful of where my life is going. We all forgot sometimes of how lucky we are to have the lives we live and never really appreciate what we have around us. I am one of those people that need to remember to really appreciate and be more thankful for everything in my life on a daily bases. Remember guys, we only have one life to live and we need to make sure its one life to look back on and never regret a single moment. Be thankful for having today and when you wake up in the morning take a deep breathe and realize how important that morning breathe is to your life. So pretty much every morning you wake up you now can wake up and be thankful for something!
